The 6+1 ball bearings ensure very easy and smooth usage, a key parameter of every quality reel. The reliable mechanism with an ideal 5.1:1 gear ratio allows the line to be thoroughly wound onto the spool. The spool is also very distinctive with cuts resembling claws. The handle of the IXCELA reel is attached to the body by screwing it into the inner nut, which minimizes any play of the components and creates a very sturdy connection.
