Darwi water‑based textile paints contain high‑quality, lightfast pigments that can be mixed together to create additional shades. Adding white produces pastel tones, while adding pearlescent colours creates shimmering effects. The opaque white can be used as a base layer on dark fabrics or to mix pastel shades that partially or completely cover the original colour of the textile.

The paints adhere very well to natural fabrics such as cotton. Once heat‑set with an iron, they become resistant to everyday use and machine washing.
