Specifically for S/PDIF Digital Interface Cable CPDS CC was developed the (word clock) bulk cable CDS 122 (7x 0.20 mm conductor structure, a conductor cross-section of 0.22 mm², 75 ohms characteristic impedance). The conical, gold plated Cinch connectors are from REAN made by Neutrik®. They are often used for the low-loss connection of digital terminals in the studio, DJ and consumer electronics sectors.

The SPDIF standard and word clock require a characteristic impedance of 75 ohms, AES/EBU 110 ohms. Only then digital audio transmission via cable will be absolutely interference-free. The CPDS CC is fine-tuned to meet exactly these specific requirements.
