An attractive piece of wood. However not suitable as a guitar stand if you mind your guitar getting scratched. It does come supplied with some cheap plastic protectors that you have to stick onto the stand yourself. The idea being that these will protect your guitar. Well they do nothing of the sort. I was extremely meticulous in placing the protectors where my guitar would come into direct contact with the stand but due to the small size of the said protectors and the guitar still came into contact with the wood. Not immediately apparent, unfortunately. If you do buy one of these stands buy some felt strip or similiar and cover the surfaces that will or may come into contact with your guitar.
