Behringer NX1000 — 1000 W Class-D Power Amplifier

The Behringer NX1000 is an ultra-lightweight 1000-Watt Class-D power amplifier built for live PA rigs, mobile DJs, and small venues. Inside the 2U chassis, the unit delivers 2 x 300 W into 4 Ω, 2 x 500 W into 2 Ω, and 1000 W bridged into 4 Ω at just 3.3 kg. Switch-mode power supply and high-density Class-D topology keep the amplifier cool enough to run all night. Ready for 19" rack mounting, this model drops into touring racks and permanent installs.

SmartSense Impedance Compensation and Zero-Attack Protection

SmartSense loudspeaker impedance compensation delivers a fully linear frequency response at any speaker load, restoring dynamic bass and smooth high-frequency reproduction that ordinary Class-D designs often lose. Zero-Attack limiters supply maximum output with reliable overload protection, so the amp can run full-out for hours without shutting down. A built-in stereo crossover switches between full-range and bi-amp modes, sending content below 100 Hz to passive subwoofers.

Power, Connectivity, and Build Specifications

Every spec on this amplifier is engineered around real-world PA demands: stable 2 Ω operation, switchable dual mono / stereo / mono bridge modes, and locking speaker connectors.

• Power Output: 2 x 300 W @ 4 Ω, 2 x 500 W @ 2 Ω, 1000 W bridged @ 4 Ω — enough headroom for mains and a sub on one amp
• Frequency Range: 20 Hz - 20 kHz — full-range coverage for tops and subs alike
• Channels: 2 — stereo, dual mono, or mono bridge operation
• Inputs: Combo XLR / 1/4" TRS — accepts balanced or unbalanced sources
• Outputs: Speakon (twist-lock) — secure connection that won't vibrate loose
• Rack Format: 19" / 2U, 3.3 kg — light enough for one-person load-ins

Who Should Choose the Behringer NX1000

The NX1000 is the right choice for mobile DJs, small-venue sound providers, and working bands who need serious wattage without the back-breaking weight of a traditional amp. At 3.3 kg in a 2U rack chassis, it slips into shallow touring racks and fits permanent installs where space is tight. Solo performers running passive tops plus a sub will appreciate the 2 Ω stability and bridge mode that doubles mono output to 1000 W. Houses of worship and conference AV crews get a cool-running amp that holds up to repeated services.
