Extended warranty

No one can guarantee that something won't go wrong. But you can buy an extended warranty period. If you do so, we'll repair or replace the faulty product during this period.

With the extra service "Extended warranty", you get extra time when your product is covered by our warranty. You can add an extra year to the standard 24 months, during which we guarantee that your product will be fully functional and without defects.

Example No. 1

You buy a guitar for 752 €.
You also buy the extra service Extended Warranty with it.
A defect occurs on the guitar after the warranty period.
Your guitar will be repaired at Muziker for 475 € (63% of the price of the guitar).
Since you have purchased the extra service Extended warranty, you won't pay a single €.

Example No. 2

You buy a trumpet worth 798 €.
You also buy the extra Extended Warranty service with it.
The trumpet develops a defect after the warranty period.
As you have purchased an extended warranty, we will pay you the residual value of 495 € (62% of the purchase price) in the form of a voucher for your next purchase.

Example No. 3

You buy an electronic drum kit for 999 €.
You will buy an extra service Extended Warranty with it.
The drum kit develops a defect after the warranty period.
As you have purchased an extended warranty, we will pay you the residual value of 590 € (59% of the purchase price) in the form of a voucher for your next purchase.

How to do it?

Choose a service

Check the Extended warranty extra service in the shopping cart. You can also purchase it additionally, during the standard warranty period.

Activate the service

The extended warranty will be active immediately after payment. The final price in your chart will be automatically increased by the value of the extra service.

Apply the service

To make a claim under the Extended warranty, all you need to do is submit the invoice.

Frequently asked questions

What does the extended warranty cover?

For the same product defects and malfunctions as in the case with the standard warranty.

What isn't covered by the extended warranty?

For consumables, perishable goods, unpacked, used or damaged goods, or for such defects that we would not recognise even under the standard warranty (for example: defects caused by unprofessional handling, lightning, computer virus, improper handling, alteration of original parts of the product, and so on). The option to activate the extended warranty does not apply to every product in our offer.

What are you entitled to in the event of a claim during the extended warranty period?

We will provide free product repair. If the product has an irreparable defect and repair is not possible, we will allow you to return the goods and pay you the residual value of the goods in the form of a financial voucher for your next purchase. The residual value is the purchase price of the product reduced by 1 % for each month of use. The time limit for handling a complaint may be longer than 30 days in the case of more demanding diagnostics or repairs.

Can a legal entity (company, organization) also activate an extended warranty?

Yes, it can. By law, a legal entity is only entitled to a shortened 12-month standard warranty period. This can be extended by 1 or 3 years, thus obtaining 2 or 4 years of total warranty period.

I want to return the goods. Will you reimburse the purchase price of the extended warranty?

If you return the goods with the activated extended warranty, we will return the full value of the purchase: the purchase price of the goods + shipping + the purchase price of the extended warranty.

I made a claim for the goods during the legal warranty. What happens to the extended warranty?

If you claim for a product defect during the statutory warranty period (i.e. if the extended warranty has not yet commenced) and we repair the claimed for goods, the extended warranty continues normally.
If we provide you with a product replacement, your extended warranty will, of course, also apply to the new product.
If you withdraw from the contract in accordance with our warranty conditions as part of a complaint during the 24-month statutory warranty, we will refund the purchase price of the product and the purchase price of the extended warranty.
