Yamakawa Arborea Soprano Recorder

Soprano Recorder with Baroque Fingering for Beginners and Schools

The Yamakawa Arborea soprano recorder is built for first-time players, music classrooms, and anyone looking for a reliable, low-maintenance introduction to the recorder family. Its Baroque fingering matches the standard taught across most European music curricula, so students can move between this instrument and school ensembles without retraining their fingers. The two-piece construction keeps the Arborea compact at 32 cm, which suits smaller hands and makes storage simple. This model is a practical choice for parents and educators seeking an instrument that balances authentic acoustic character with everyday durability.

What Makes the Arborea Stand Out

What sets this recorder apart is its hybrid material approach: ABS Resin is paired with real wood components, giving the player a warmer, more natural tone than a fully plastic instrument while keeping the body resistant to cracking, swelling, and temperature changes. The satin finish adds a comfortable grip during long practice sessions, and the included cleaning brush, protective case, and fingering chart mean a beginner can start playing immediately without buying extras.
