Yamaha CH8 Long Boom Cymbal Arm — Flexible Cymbal Positioning

The Yamaha CH8 is a long boom cymbal arm that adds extra cymbal reach to an existing drum setup. It mounts directly onto double tom stands or tom holders, freeing up floor space around the kit. Built from steel with a 320 mm boom arm and 22.2 mm / 19.1 mm tube diameters, it provides stable positioning for crash, splash or china cymbals.

Key Features

The hinged boom tilter clamp grips the arm on three sides, so only light tightening holds position firmly. The Quick Release Nut speeds up cymbal changes during fast set breakdowns, while the Sound Enhanced Cymbal Washer combines foam rubber with a firmer silicone core for richer cymbal resonance. The boom arm also stores inside the upper pipe, converting the holder into a straight configuration for more compact transport.
