What is the winding length of the string? (not the vibrating length ie 37 cm) But the winding/windable whole length? ie 100cm?

Good morning,Thank you for your question regarding the Thomastik Superflexible 22 C Viola string. The manufacturer specifies the vibrating string length as 37 cm (for a 4/4 size viola). While the exact total winding length isn't explicitly provided by Thomastik, viola strings typically have a total windable length around 60–70 cm. This accommodates various tailpiece and tuning peg setups. If you require an exact measurement for your specific needs, I’d recommend contacting Thomastik directly or consulting your instrument technician. If you have any further questions, please let me know—I’m happy to help!Kind regards,Team Muziker
