Sycomore Art Set Nature

Creative arts and crafts kit combining collage and soft pastel painting. A complete artistic set designed for creating striking ballet scenes by pairing stickers with original artwork.

The project is built on 10 sheets of high-quality paper in five background colors that make the soft pastels stand out with vivid intensity. Children first apply a transparent sticker of a ballerina in an elegant dance pose onto their chosen colored paper. Using the twelve soft pastels, they then complete the scene, designing and drawing a fluffy tulle tutu or dynamic motion lines of the dance costume. The included blotting paper helps softly blend and shade the pastels, creating an airy, fluid impression of fabric in motion.

The set pairs the precision of guided templates with total creative freedom in costume design, resulting in finished, original artworks ready for framing. The entire process supports the development of fine motor skills, compositional awareness, contrast handling, patience, and aesthetic sensibility.

All components are neatly organized in a sturdy illustrated portfolio box from the Artissimo collection, which doubles as a practical work surface and a protective case for storing works in progress.
