Nordic Spheres Crossgrade TT is a crossgrade license to Nordic Spheres for owners of Time Textures. Nordic Spheres is a Sonuscore KONTAKT instrument that blends sound effects, granular synthesis and percussive sounds into rough, ambient textures inspired by Icelandic nature. Sonuscore collaborated with Mats Lundgren and Amina Hocine from Pole Position in Sweden to assemble its tonal and non-tonal recordings. It is the sonic sibling of Time Textures and Chroma.

Four Layers, Two Grain Engines

The instrument is built from four layers, each with its own ADSR, arpeggiator or LFO and FX such as EQ, saturation, chorus and tremolo. The two upper layers are Grain Engines loaded with tonal, tonal effects, non-tonal effects and looping sounds, with control over density, start position and timing. The two lower layers are traditional sample engines for hits, particles and sustains. The motion options tie the layers and effects to the mod wheel to change the timbre in real time.

Who Is It For

This crossgrade suits composers and producers who already own Time Textures and want to experiment with both sound design and music. More than 200 presets cover ambient and cinematic atmospheres for film, game and modern scoring work.
