Jamo Mini MKII Hi-Fi Bookshelf speaker Pink Gloss

Jamo Mini MKII Pink Gloss — Big Sound in an A6-Sized Cabinet

The Jamo Mini MKII Pink Gloss is an ultra-compact 2-way active bookshelf speaker pair for listeners who want real stereo imaging without surrendering desk or shelf space. Nearly the size of an A6 page, the cabinet houses a 78 mm (3") fiberglass woofer and a 20 mm (0.75") NdFeB dome tweeter guided by Jamo's Micro Horn WaveGuide for clean highs and a controlled midrange. Built-in Class-D amplification rated at 2 x 35 W (70 W total) provides enough headroom for desktop use, TV audio and small-room music listening without an external amplifier. The Pink High Gloss finish adds a confident splash of color to minimalist interiors.

What Sets This Model Apart in the Compact Active Speaker Category

Two engineering choices distinguish this model from typical mini Bluetooth speakers. The Micro Horn WaveGuide shapes the tweeter's dispersion for smoother high-frequency extension, while the fiberglass woofer cone improves transient response and lowers distortion. A stereo RCA subwoofer output with adjustable crossover (20 Hz – 220 Hz ±3 dB) lets the system scale into a 2.1 setup.

Driver Technology and Sound Character

The two-way bass-reflex configuration pairs a long-throw 78 mm (3") fiberglass woofer with a 20 mm (0.75") NdFeB dome tweeter, crossed over at 2500 Hz for a clean handover between bass and treble.

• Woofer: 78 mm (3") fiberglass cone — fast transient response and reduced breakup
• Tweeter: 20 mm (0.75") NdFeB dome with Micro Horn WaveGuide — controlled dispersion and smooth highs
• Crossover Frequency: 2500 Hz — clean handoff between drivers

Built-In Amplification and Power

The integrated Class-D amplifier delivers 2 x 35 W per channel, removing the need for any external amp while keeping energy consumption low. Standby draw stays below 0.5 W, and the universal power supply accepts both 100–120 V / 60 Hz and 220–240 V / 50 Hz.

• Amplifier Power: 2 x 35 W, Class D (70 W total) — ample headroom for desktop playback
• Sensitivity: 82 dB (2.83 V @ 1 m) — efficient pairing with the built-in amplifier
• Standby Power: < 0.5 W — energy-conscious design

Connectivity and System Expansion

HDMI TV ARC allows single-cable connection to a smart TV with remote-controlled volume, while Bluetooth 5.3 with SBC and AAC codecs handles wireless streaming from phones, tablets and laptops. USB audio and a 3.5 mm jack cover legacy and computer sources, and the stereo RCA sub-out lets listeners add bass when needed.

• Wireless Streaming: Bluetooth 5.3 (SBC / AAC) — stable streaming from mobile devices
• Wired Inputs: HDMI TV ARC / USB audio / 3.5 mm jack — covers TV, computer and legacy sources
• Subwoofer Output: Stereo RCA, 20 Hz – 220 Hz ±3 dB adjustable — expand into a 2.1 system

Who the Mini MKII Is Right For

This model is the right choice for listeners who want genuine stereo imaging and modern connectivity from a speaker pair small enough for a desktop, kitchen counter or narrow shelf. It suits smart-TV owners seeking a clean HDMI ARC upgrade over built-in TV speakers, remote workers wanting fuller sound during video calls, and gamers who appreciate the punch of a fiberglass woofer in a near-field setup. Apartment dwellers benefit from the A6-sized footprint and the choice of six finishes. A subwoofer can be added later for a 2.1 movie-night setup.

Jamo — Compact Speaker Design

Jamo is a loudspeaker brand that designs compact hi-fi speakers with clean aesthetics and efficient driver technology. The Mini MKII continues that approach with an ultra-compact form factor, a fiberglass cone woofer and the Micro Horn WaveGuide tweeter loading. Pink High Gloss reflects Jamo's move toward expressive color options that let the speaker double as décor rather than a hidden black box.
