D'Addario XLB095 Single Bass String

Single Replacement String for Long Scale Electric Bass

This single string from the D'Addario XL Nickel Wound Electric Bass series is sized at .095" for long scale electric bass guitars. Wound with a nickel-plated steel wrap wire on digitally-controlled winding machines, it delivers the bright, magnetic-rich tone the XL line is known for. Sold individually, the XLB095 solves the problem of a single broken or worn string without forcing a full set replacement. Who This String Is For

This single string is the right choice for bassists who need a .095" replacement for a long scale electric bass. It fits as the low A or low B string in a custom 4-string or 5-string set, and suits players who prefer the bright attack of nickel-plated steel roundwound strings across rock, pop, funk, and blues. Sold as a single unit, it is also practical for anyone who has worn out one string and wants to match the tone of an existing D'Addario XL set. The XLB095 is part of the same XL Nickel Wound series used in D'Addario's full bass string sets, so it blends in seamlessly with the rest of the pack.
