Who It's For

This single string is the right choice for electric guitar players who need a replacement string or want to build a custom gauge set. The .050 gauge works well as a low E string in standard tuning or as part of heavier custom sets for dropped tunings. Rock, blues, and metal players will appreciate the enhanced mid-range presence and crunch that the reformulated nickel-plated steel delivers. Players who frequently break strings benefit from being able to purchase individual replacements rather than full sets.
