Casio LK-S450 Keyboard with Touch Response

Casiotone LK-S450 — Lighted-Key Portable Keyboard with AiX Sound

The Casio LK-S450 is a 61-key touch-responsive portable keyboard designed to make learning songs feel like a game. Each key lights up to show the next note, while 160 built-in songs and Step-Up Lessons guide beginners through familiar pieces at their own pace. Built around Casio's AiX sound engine, this model delivers an expressive German concert grand piano plus 599 additional Tones covering electric pianos, organs, strings, and synths. Beginners and self-taught players who want a portable, lesson-friendly instrument that still sounds grown-up will find this a perfect match.

What Sets This Model Apart

The Key Lighting System turns the entire keyboard into a visual guide: choose a song on the LCD, and the correct keys illuminate in sequence so you can follow along without reading sheet music. Bass-reflex stereo speakers combined with a dedicated SURROUND mode deliver room-filling sound from a chassis that weighs just 4.5 kg without batteries. Strap pins on the back panel turn any space into a stage when running on AA power.

Key Specifications for Players

The numbers behind the keyboard translate directly into playing comfort and creative flexibility. A 48-note polyphony keeps dense arrangements clean, while 200 One Touch Presets instantly match Tones to Rhythms for instant jamming.

Who Should Consider the LK-S450

Beginners, kids, and returning players often choose this portable keyboard because it teaches while it plays. Lighted keys and Step-Up Lessons remove the intimidation of reading notation, while 600 Tones and 200 Rhythms give hobbyists plenty of room to explore styles from classical to electronic. Singers benefit from the standard-jack MIC IN for at-home karaoke, and the optional WU-BT10 Bluetooth adapter adds wireless MIDI to iOS and Android apps like Casio Music Space.
