Bobbiny Classic 4 mm 100 m Black Cord

The braided Bobbiny Classic 4 mm cord was created in response to makers looking for a genuinely universal thickness. It sits exactly halfway between the much-loved 3 mm and 5 mm cords: it still lets you work on detail, but your project grows noticeably faster and the result looks fuller and more compact.

The cord has a braided construction with a cotton filling, which ensures shape retention and a smooth, even surface that does not fray. It is soft, pliable and durable, so it suits crochet, knitting, macramé and weaving alike.

Use it for handbags and totes, baskets, organisers, seat pads, trivets, small rugs, garlands, macramé hangings and home decorations or DIY accessories. The recommended hook or needle size is 6 – 8 mm – a smaller tool gives you a dense, shape-holding fabric, a larger one more airy stitches.

Please note: a braided cord cannot be brushed out into fringes. If you want to add fringes or tassels to your project, use a Bobbiny macramé cord of the same thickness.
