Handheld wireless system from FP series that features proven wireless technology, including Shure patented Audio Reference Companding, for professional sound capture in demanding videography and electronic field production (EFP) environments. It includes a FP2/SM58 handheld transmitter, and a FP5 portable receiver plus a variety of accessories including a microphone clip, a camera shoe mount, a TA3F-to-XLRm audio cable, a TA3F-to-3.5mm dual-mono audio cable, four AA batteries, two vinyl bags, and a user guide. Designed for on-camera mounting, the portable receiver locates an open frequency at the touch of a button and instantly syncs the transmitter to the receiver frequency. It is battery-powered, lightweight and durable, featuring diversity antennas and output to either XLR or 3.5mm connectors. The receiver also provides a power LED with low battery indicator, an RF LED that indicates transmitter sync when illuminated and a receiver output level control that manages output to camera/mixer. The handheld microphone transmitter features an interchangeable cartridge and provides an automatic transmitter setup function that instantly syncs the transmitter to the receiver frequency.
