Seajet 118 Epoxy Antifouling-maali

Epoxy primer provides a high build, abrasion resistant anticorrosive barrier coat for all surfaces. It is also tolerant to a surface which cannot be prepared to the highest standard. Characteristics: - Compared to other primers, a reduced number of coats will achieve the specified thickness. - Protection against gel-coat osmosis blistering below water. - An ideal primer for fibre-glass, metal keels and above water areas. Type: Modified epoxy, ultra build primer. Recommended use: - Protection of all surfaces of yachts and pleasure crafts for above and below water. - Effective prevention of gel-coat osmosis blistering below water. Application details: - Thinner: Seajet thinner E, - Application data: Airless spray, brush, roller, - Min. temperature: 10 °C, - Max. humidity: 85% R.H. Degrease and clean using THINNER E wiping to remove all contamination. - Bare fibreglass: Abrade using P180-240 abrasive paper followed by final cleaning. Apply a single coat of SEAJET 118 (or 2 coats for osmosis protection). - Bare aluminium: Apply one coat of SEAJET 017, 3-4 coats of SEAJET 118. - Steel hulls and metal keels: Sand blast to SA 2½ or hand prepare bare areas.
